Summer Fun!

We decided to take one last trip up north before having the baby and it sure was fun! We drove up Wednesday night (Aug 5th) and stayed with Adam's parents at Snowbird ski resort. The hotel was amazing; some of the most beautiful views. It is always so hard to imagine snow all over the place at ski resorts in the summer time. There was a river that you could hear anytime and the weather was perfect. The next day we rode the aerial tram up to the 11,000 ft. summit of Hidden Peak. Can I just say WOW! Then Diesl played in a bounce house for a while before doing the Alpine Slide with his dad. He loved it (and of course threw a fit getting off.) I would suggest even going up for a day if anyone gets bored during summer time. There was a mechanical bull, zip lining, rock climbing, bungy trampoline, hiking, and much more. Anyways, we wish we could've stayed longer but Adam had an eye appointment we had to get to in Logan.

Diesl didn't want to get his picture taken on the peak. He got tired of us trying so this is what he did:)

After Adam's eye appointment we headed up to the annual Bear Lake condos to spend a few days with my family, both immediate and extended. I have been going up there since as long as I can remember and it never gets old.
Diesl painting a ceramic car with his aunt Marquesas. He mostly had fun mixing all the colors on the plate together with his paintbrush. The resort has lots of fun craft things for kids.
Diesl doing a few pull-ups and his FAVORITE thing to do, SwInG!
Walking with my brother and sisters to the beach. Just a little too chilly for me to touch that water. Diesl could've dove right in if Adam wasn't with him.
Despite the cold, we decided to head to the beach once again and build a sand castle. It ended up being way fun for everyone.
Fun in the hot tub after a cold night on the beach. Someone put bubbles in the jets and they went crazy. These are pics of when the bubbles died down a bit.
And of course, you can't be in Bear Lake without some nintendo device. This year, the WII.
On Sunday, we drove back to Smithfield to Adam's parents house. We later went and saw my sister and her kids for a little while. Diesl had fun playing with his cousins and seeing their animals.
All fun came to an end as we headed back to Saint George monday morning.
