Adam and I never really got a honeymoon so we saved our pennies and booked a cruise. We Left for L.A. on August 17, 2008. It took about 6 hours to get there (really not that bad cuz it takes that same amount of time to get up north)I wouldn't want to live in L.A. "Holy Pollution"
The Ship was Awesome. We enjoyed time at the pool, playing shuffle board, and doing the rock-climbing wall (f.y.i. we met Bill Gephart's (("Get Gephart")) son at the wall; small world.)

Our last port of call was Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. This was our favorite stop. It is pure jungle and absolutely breathtaking! We weren't quite sure if the parrot was going to do us harm, but we made it okay through a few snapshots. Here in Puerto we decided to do an 'Extreme Outdoor Adventure' excursion. Boy am I glad we did. We started off by riding in motorized raft things to an area (middle pic.) Then we rode in some heavy duty Mercedes brand trucks that took us way up into the jungle. After we arrived, we hopped on some mules (freaky!! for me cuz I have never rode a horse by myself, let alone some random mule) and they took us to the top of the Sierra Madres. From the top, we did some zip lines (sooo fun!!) and repelled down a couple waterfalls, until we got back down to the bottom. Now, I am absolutely frightened of heights so I give myself a huge pat on the back for conquering this. We had so much fun that I would recommend it to anyone.
We made it back to L.A. on August 24th. The last couple of days on ship were bitter-sweet cuz we didn't want to leave but we were more excited to see Diesl. We missed him so bad! We are just so grateful that he was safe with my Mom and fam, Sholly, and Adam's Mom. Diesl is worth every $dollar$ we had to pay in roaming charges (outrageous bill) since I called soooo much to check on him.
